The purpose is to serve food and/or beverages to guests according to Standards and in alignment with the Restaurant’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Knowledgeable about all menu items, restaurant promotions and beverages served; their garnish, contents and preparation methods.
- Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system.
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
- Must complete necessary side-work as per schedule, this includes stocking and organizing all supplies, etc.
- Take and know inventory at all times, and requisition daily supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain regular attendance, consistently on time, and observe prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
- Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor.
Excellent customer service skills:
- Respond to requests for service and assistance.
- Demonstrate the desire and ability to provide high quality service to both internal and external customers.
- Solicit customer feedback to improve service.
