Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for bills and payments
- Support guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Culinary experience or background in food handling, sanitation, and food safety regulations is a plus
- Demonstrated time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or supporting kitchen operations is advantageous
- Knowledge of the food industry standards for sanitation, food preparation, and guest services
