Seasonal Host/Hostess

Winged Foot Golf Club is a private club with two 18-hole golf courses located in Mamaroneck, New York.

Position Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Seasonal Host/Hostess to join our Food & Beverage team. The Seasonal Host/Hostess will warmly welcome members and guests when they arrive. The Host/Hostess, along with the Food & Beverage team, will ensure a great experience for members and guests.

The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented mindset, demonstrate reliability, flexible schedule, working weekends, and holidays, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.

Position Responsibilities:

· Greet members and guests with a warm welcome

· Assist with managing reservations

· Guide members and guests to their tables and present menus in a professional manner

· Ensure place settings are appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean silverware, and standard place setting items

· Monitor dining areas for seating availability

· Maintain a clean and organized host stand and menu area

· Attend pre-shift meetings

· Perform other appropriate duties assigned by Food & Beverage Manager & Clubhouse Manager

Qualification Standards:

· Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred in club, hotel or restaurant setting

· The ability to read, write and understand English

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Education:

· High school diploma or GED

Physical Demands:

· Ability to stand for extended periods of time

· Able to handle hot weather conditions

Grooming:

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per club standards.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
