Responsibilities
- Safely transport appliances to customer locations using a box truck or similar vehicle, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Install appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC units following manufacturer specifications and schematics.
- Conduct appliance repairs and troubleshooting on-site, utilizing mechanical knowledge and electrical experience to diagnose issues accurately.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to ensure proper installation and repair procedures.
- Assemble appliances and related equipment efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring complete satisfaction with the installation process.
- Perform routine equipment repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal appliance performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, refrigeration, HVAC principles, and equipment repair techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams confidently.
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in field service roles involving box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with assembly skills for various appliances and equipment.
