Senior Property Manager

Are you an experienced property management leader with deep affordable housing compliance knowledge and the ability to take ownership of complex communities? We’re looking for a Senior Property Manager to oversee a property in Bradenton, FL, with the potential to also support a property in Naples in the future.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is highly resourceful, financially savvy, independent, and extremely strong in affordable housing compliance. The ideal candidate has experience navigating property rehabs, resident relocations, multi-site operations, and challenging operational situations.

Salary: $100,000–$105,000 annually

Location: Bradenton, FL, with potential future oversight of a Naples, FL property

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Bradenton community, with the potential to take on additional oversight of a Naples property in the future.
• Maintain exceptionally strong compliance with Project-Based Section 8, HUD, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) requirements, including files, recertifications, audits, and regulatory standards.
• Manage renovation and rehabilitation projects, including coordinating resident relocations and helping minimize disruption to residents during construction.
• Review property financials, including budgets, income statements, balance sheets, expenses, and variances, and develop action plans when properties are trending over budget.
• Lead property teams, vendors, contractors, and community operations while independently identifying problems, finding resources, and driving solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with residents, ownership, internal partners, and regulatory agencies while ensuring properties operate efficiently and remain compliant.

What We’re Looking For:

• We are seeking someone with 5 years of Senior Property Manager-level experience and previous multi-site exposure.
• Extensive experience with Project-Based Section 8, HUD, and LIHTC compliance is essential.
• You should be comfortable managing challenging properties, rehabilitation projects, resident relocations, budgets, and financial reporting.
• The right person will be a go-getter who does not need to be heavily directed. You are open-minded, adaptable, resourceful, organized, and comfortable taking ownership of problems from beginning to end.
