Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to provide exceptional guest services at our hotel or resort. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth check-in and check-out processes. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems, respond to guest inquiries, and handle reservations
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests
- Handle guest requests promptly and resolve any issues to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and billing information
- Assist with night audit responsibilities as needed, ensuring financial accuracy
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
- Uphold phone etiquette standards and ensure professional communication at all times
- Support guest relations efforts by creating a welcoming environment and addressing concerns efficiently
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse clientele effectively a plus
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and front desk software - Opera PMS
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts if required
- Hospitality background with experience in resort or hotel environments preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in guest interactions and record keeping
