Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Perform detailed floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, polishing floors, and operating industrial cleaning equipment to preserve flooring quality.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas efficiently and accurately.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold safety standards.
- Follow all safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial roles within hotels or hospitality environments.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and industrial cleaning methods.
- Familiarity with hotel standards for cleanliness and guest service excellence.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending or reaching.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering consistently high-quality results.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
