Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations with fresh food items, beverages, and condiments in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Serve guests in person with friendly, attentive customer service, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness of all dining areas, food prep stations, and kitchen equipment through regular cleaning routines.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as coffee machines, toasters, and warming trays safely and efficiently.
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift while monitoring food quality and presentation standards.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while providing excellent service.
- Follow food handling protocols diligently to ensure safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is highly preferred, especially with banquet or restaurant experience.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures is essential.
- Ability to handle weight in the workplace safely and perform manual handling tasks efficiently.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor in face-to-face interactions.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as coffee makers, toasters, or warming trays is advantageous.
- Experience with food preparation, food handling, and culinary tasks within the food industry is desirable.
- Barista experience or knowledge of wine can be a plus for beverage service components.
