Housekeeper

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold high cleanliness standards
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces with efficiency and care
• Care for floors through sweeping, mopping, polishing, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure a pristine appearance
• Restock supplies like toiletries, linens, towels, and amenities to meet guest needs promptly
• Follow established safety procedures during cleaning tasks and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to ensure swift resolution and guest safety
• Support janitorial and custodial tasks as needed to maintain overall facility hygiene and operational flow
• The Housekeeping attendant will be responsible for providing a variety of functions in the housekeeping department while providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner.
• The housekeeping functions include: 1) cleaning of guest rooms in a timely manner, complying with room amenities according to brand standards and assisting with guests requests, 2) performing laundry duties, which include washing, drying, and/or folding hotel linen for use by departments, and 3) maintaining cleanliness for back of the house and general appearance of public areas and assisting other housekeeping attendants to ensure there is enough supply of guest room materials and linen count.

• Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation
• Previous hotel or hospitality experience is a strong plus, demonstrating understanding of guest service standards
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
• Knowledge of janitorial equipment and safe handling of cleaning chemicals is preferred
• Experience in housekeeping management or supervising cleaning staff is advantageous but not required
