- Assist in food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, cleanliness, and sanitation throughout all kitchen stations
- Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and assisting with meal assembly for various dietary needs
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling, storage, and hygiene procedures
- Contribute to catering events and special meal services, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of dishes
- Serve food efficiently to customers or clients while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
- Support kitchen operations by cleaning work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly to uphold health standards
Skills
- Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
- Experience in restaurant or food service environments demonstrating excellent customer service skills
