Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to address client needs.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate therapies for ongoing wellness.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, client progress, and any relevant medical information using proper medical terminology.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
- Collaborate with other healthcare or wellness professionals to optimize patient outcomes when necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
- Prior experience in a med spa or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with patient service principles and customer service excellence.
- Knowledge of occupational health standards and best practices for maintaining hygiene and safety.
- Demonstrated ability to perform deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques effectively.
