Job Summary
Wing It On! is looking for a friendly and dependable Front Counter Associate to provide excellent guest service, take orders, process payments, and help keep front-of-house operations running efficiently. The role is well suited for someone who enjoys a fast-paced restaurant environment and working directly with customers.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly counter service.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Operate the POS system and process cash and card payments.
- Answer customer questions about menu items and specials.
- Prepare and package takeout orders for customers.
- Coordinate orders with kitchen and restaurant staff.
- Check orders for accuracy before handing them to guests.
- Keep the front counter, dining area, and service stations clean.
- Restock cups, containers, napkins, sauces, and other supplies.
- Handle customer requests and concerns professionally.
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures.
- Assist coworkers during busy lunch, dinner, and weekend periods.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, restaurant, fast-food, or customer-service experience is helpful.
- Friendly attitude and strong communication skills.
- Comfortable using a POS system and handling payments.
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Good attention to order accuracy and cleanliness.
- Able to work well independently and with a team.
