About This Role
The Planning Analyst supports demand, supply, and inventory planning by maintaining critical planning data, running routine planning processes, and helping identify risks and opportunities across the supply chain. This role partners closely with Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Production Control to improve forecast accuracy, ensure build traceability, and support effective decision-making.
Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager, this position plays a key cross-functional role, interacting frequently with sales, production operations, procurement, and production control to align plans with business priorities and operational capabilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain planning master data (Monday.com, Spreadsheets).
- Assist with production planning: build schedules, coordinate changes.
- Track constraints and changes; communicate impacts to cross-functional partners.
- Prepare standard reports and dashboards; assist with automating or streamlining recurring analyses.
- Participate in S&OP/IBP cadence: compile materials, notes, action logs, and follow-ups.
- Support continuous improvement projects (process documentation, SOPs, data cleanup, root-cause work).
OTHER FUNCTIONS:
- Other duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICLA REQUIREMENTS:
- Role operates in both an office setting and a safety-conscious production environment
- Requires regular use of hands and fingers for handling paperwork and data entry
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and use of hands; occasional lifting of items up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles while on production floor
- May require periodic flexibility in work hours, including possible overtime, to support month-end/quarter-end planning cycles

Qualifications:
EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Analytics, or similar field (or equivalent experience), and/or 1–2 years in supply chain, planning, operations, inventory control, or related internship/co-op.
- Strong Excel skills (pivots, lookups, basic modeling); comfort working with large datasets.
- Clear communication and ability to coordinate with cross-functional partners.
- Detail-oriented with good follow-through; able to prioritize in a deadline-driven environment.
PREFERRED:
- Experience with ERP/planning tools (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Kinaxis, o9, Anaplan, etc.).
- Basic statistics/forecasting knowledge
- Understanding of procurement, production, and logistics fundamentals.
