Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist or Senior HR Generalist based in Arcata, CA. The individual in this role will manage HR policies and processes, facilitate employee benefits programs, oversee benefits administration, and provide comprehensive HR support to the organization. Responsibilities also include supporting employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, and fostering a positive workplace culture that aligns with company values.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) practices, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
• Experience with HR Management and implementing HR Policies across an organization.
• Familiarity with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
• Strong understanding of employment laws, compliance requirements, and best practices in HR.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in an on-site dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) are a plus.
