Chocolate Packing Department Associate

Position Summary
Winfreys is looking for dependable, hardworking team members to join our Chocolate Packing Department. Packing Associates are responsible for preparing, packaging, labeling, and organizing our chocolates and confections so that every product meets Winfreys’ standards for quality and presentation.
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and the ability to stay organized while working efficiently.
Essential Responsibilities
- Pack chocolates, candies, and confections according to established procedures and quality standards
- Accurately weigh, count, and package products
- Apply labels, stickers, and packaging materials correctly
- Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper packaging
- Assemble boxes, gift packages, and other customer orders
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
- Communicate with supervisors and coworkers regarding inventory, product needs, and packing issues
- Assist with preparing products for store delivery and customer shipments
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency during busy seasonal periods
- Perform other duties within the packing department as needed
Qualifications
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Able to lift and move boxes and product as needed
- Previous food production, packing, retail, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required
- Must be willing to follow all food safety and sanitation requirements

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the workday
- Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive packing and labeling tasks
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift boxes or supplies as needed
- Ability to lift approximately 25–40 pounds
- Ability to work in a food production environment
