What are the responsibilities and job description for the Liquor Store Associate position at Wine & Spirits - In Cheshire CT?
- Must be over 21years of age and over
- Able to use a POS system to ring up costumers (will train)
- Lift and Carry cases of wine/liquor (20lbs and up) and not afraid to climb ladder to restock
- Must be friendly with customers and helpful
Duties
- Greet customers and provide a fun shopping experience.
- Accurately and efficiently complete sales transactions on a register and maintain proper cash and register accountability.
- Assist customers with finding a selection as needed
- Carry customers order to their vehicle when necessary
- Assist with restocking the shelves and make floor displays
- Other duties include training new employees help manger with scheduling
- Must be extremely punctual to work and very neat appearance.
- Maintain awareness of our products, merchandise promotions and advertisements.
- Adhere to loss prevention, inventory control and compliance procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly sales floor.
- Any other duties assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:
- Retail experience is helpful, but not necessary
- Must be dependable when it comes to attendance and punctuality
- Must successfully pass background screening
- Must have a valid Drivers License / Preferred - Clean Record
- Wine/Liquor Knowledge is a Bonus
