Successful, store Key Holder at Wine Outlet @ 89 Newman Springs Rd, Shrewsbury NJ 07702 USA is seeking passionate, energetic, customer service oriented individual to join our team as the Key Holder. This individual will oversee day to day operations, sales, sales analysis, inventory management and fiscal accountability.
Duties:
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused Key Holder/Shift Supervisor to help oversee daily operations during assigned shifts at our liquor store. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, retail experience (preferably in alcohol sales), and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support team members during assigned shifts
Ensure compliance with all state and local liquor laws and ID verification policies
Open and/or close the store, including handling cash registers and preparing deposits
Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and merchandising
Resolve customer issues and handle escalations in a professional manner
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment
Enforce company policies and procedures among staff
Train and mentor new employees as needed
Communicate shift updates and concerns to the Store Manager
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Must be at least 21 years of age
1 year(s) of retail, customer service, or supervisory experience (preferred)
Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations (preferred or willing to learn)
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to lead and motivate a team
Comfortable handling cash and operating POS systems
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
Working Conditions:
Must be available for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and attention to detail
Some heavy lifting and stocking required
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
