What are the responsibilities and job description for the Art Studio Assistant position at Wine and Design Chapel Hill?
Wine & Design Chapel Hill and Durham is in search of passionate artists assistants, who enjoy art outreach and education with the public. They will greet clients, help set up classes, help clean up classes. The ideal person for this job will have an outgoing, captivating personality, strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work quickly and energetically with our team of artists. Must have weekend availability (Friday through Sunday)!
Pay is 10.00 per hour - plus tips.
MUST BE 18 years old to serve beer and wine.
Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Greeting clients.
- Setting up classes.
- Selling retail items, and food and beverage including beer and wine.
- Assisting customers, and staff to ensure a smooth, and efficient class.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency with Apple, and Android media. Basic understanding of Wifi.
- Must have a cell phone.
- Public Speaking or performance skills (comfortable speaking on a microphone).
- Time management and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift more than 15 lbs.
Preferred Education/Experience:
- Some retail experience.
- Experience in customer service.
