Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of concession foods and beverages, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cash register operations and balancing tills at shift end
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing friendly customer service
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with food storage to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning serving areas, and supporting overall food handling procedures to uphold sanitation protocols
Requirements
- Prior experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafes, or grocery stores is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude and positive communication style
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating basic math skills for retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods
- Previous restaurant experience or culinary background is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
