Objective
The Windward School is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Physical Education teacher for grades one through five.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing PE related lesson plans and teaching physical education, grades 1-5
- Willingness to coach or be part of the After-School Activities Program
Specific Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and state certification in Physical Education required, Master’s preferred
- Teaching experience
- Experience in collaborative planning and teaching using a multisensory approach
- Experience in implementing curriculum based on skill acquisition, strategies, sportsmanship, and teamwork
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and co-workers
Salary based on experience: $57,000-$76,000
