- Review and monitor mitigation estimates and final bills to ensure they are reasonable and appropriate for the work performed; prepare comparative estimates.
- Accurately review emergency water mitigation information provided by vendors, and claim documentation, to verify services performed.
- Review and monitor Mold Testing & Remediation estimates and final bills to ensure they are reasonable and appropriate for the work performed; prepare comparative estimates.
- Review Mold Testing & Remediation information provided by to verify services performed.
- Review and respond to requests submitted for mold testing services to exceed applicable policy limits for mold testing/assessments.
- Interact with preferred and non-preferred vendors within designated timeframes throughout the mitigation and/or remediation process to ensure appropriate mitigation/remediation is performed.
- Communicate with the adjuster team handling the claim and their management.
- Negotiate with preferred and non-preferred vendors to ensure bills are in line with appropriate pricing and scope.
- Create alignment regarding policy and procedures with the claims department and across vendors for handling Mold Testing & Remediation.
- Identify trends and recommend best practices and procedures to the Team Manager.
- Use Xactimate estimating software to adjust and reconcile Mitigation, Mold Testing & Remediation assignments.
- Create and communicate estimate revisions with the appropriate teams.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- Florida licensed All-Lines adjuster (620).
- 5 years’ experience in property claims required. 3 years’ experience in Water Mitigation & Mold Remediation may offset 3 years of property adjusting experience.
- IICRC / Mold certified; strong working knowledge of IICRC guidelines.
- IICRC / WRT-ASD certified; strong working knowledge of IICRC guidelines
- Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- 5 years’ experience in preparing Mold Remediation plans and performing Mold Remediation estimating.
- Florida Mold Remediators license.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good skills working with vendors and customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to work well within deadlines.
- Knowledge of property insurance policy and coverage analysis.
- Strong skills and experience with Xactimate estimating program.
- Previous Team Lead experience.

Salary : $68,000 - $85,000
