Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer specializing in aircraft primary and secondary structures using CATIA V5 for an on-site, contract role based in Seattle, WA. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing aircraft structural systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and using advanced tools to create, analyze, and refine designs. Other key responsibilities include applying computer-aided design (CAD) tools, troubleshooting design challenges, and ensuring all designs meet rigorous aerospace industry standards.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in Design Engineering and Product Design
- Strong skills in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency with CATIA V5 software
- Solid understanding of structural engineering principles applicable to aerospace
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the aerospace industry, particularly in aircraft structural systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
