Windsor Windows & Doors, a leading manufacturer of wood and vinyl windows and patio doors, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to work within the production area maintaining equipment, troubleshooting, and working within a team.
Opening is for 1st shift in Norwalk, IA. 6 am - 2:30pm
Responsibilities include:
- Electrical process equipment troubleshooting
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly operator PMs on all production equipment per schedule
- PLC’s, Drives, Relays, Motors
- Disassemble, repair, replace, rebuild and install mechanical equipment using diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications
- Perform inspections of production equipment and preventive maintenance duties
- Respond to requests to address and diagnose operation mechanical problems where equipment is not operating correctly
- Collaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning maintenance problems regarding equipment
Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude
- Experience with industrial controls
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
- 3-5 years of mechanical experience
