What you will do:

The Director of Nursing (DON) provides nursing and administrative direction for our entire nursing services team. Windsor is looking for a dynamic candidate with strong leadership and interpersonal skills that is knowledgeable of nursing/medical practices and procedures.

As a valued facility leader, our Director of Nursing plays a critical strategic role of overseeing the leadership and guidance of our nursing services team in accordance with current Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. You will oversee appropriate utilization of resources necessary for the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated interdisciplinary approach. As a nurse leader, you will coach, develop, and lead our clinical team to success!

Must haves:

• Previous experience as DON, ADON, RN manager
• 3-5 years’ experience in a nursing supervisory role providing direct care to multiple residents, Long Term Care (LTC) is ideal
• Graduate of approved RN program
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

Would be great:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Experience in Skilled Nursing Environment
• Experience with PointClickCare
• Advanced education in principles of management as well as geriatrics or DON certification
• Leadership principles

CALIFORNIA PAY TRANSPARENCY STATEMENT

Compensation for roles Windsor Vallejo Care Center varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by state or local law, Windsor Vallejo Care Center provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Windsor Vallejo Care Center expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, as stated below:

Pay Range: $160000 - $185000 per hour DOE
