Facility Services/Support

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facility Services/Support professional to maintain and enhance the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong custodial and janitorial experience, with a focus on commercial cleaning, floor care, and general maintenance. Duties

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure hygienic conditions.
• Conduct janitorial tasks across various areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces with attention to detail.
• Execute floor care procedures including buffing, polishing, stripping, and waxing to maintain optimal appearance and safety standards.
• Support custodial operations for both commercial and residential settings, adapting techniques as needed for different environments.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, light plumbing or electrical work, and equipment upkeep to ensure operational efficiency.
• Support industrial cleaning projects that require specialized equipment or procedures for large-scale or high-traffic areas.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management of supply needs or maintenance issues promptly.
• Uphold safety protocols by adhering to health regulations and using appropriate protective gear during all cleaning activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial services or custodial work within commercial or industrial facilities.
• Strong background in cleaning techniques including floor buffing, stripping, waxing, and general sanitation practices.
• Knowledge of facilities maintenance procedures with the ability to perform minor repairs or coordinate repairs with specialists.
• Experience with residential painting or related maintenance tasks is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as buffers and extractors safely and effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
