Caregiver Requirements:
- - Experience preferred but not required.
- - Certification or registration as required by Federal and State laws depending on the position, with training provided
Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Help complete activities of daily living, including:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Transfers to and from bed; wheelchair; toilet; shower chair; recliner
- Toileting
- Repositioning in wheelchair and bed
- Assistance with feeding/eating, as applicable
- Hygiene tasks, including brushing teeth, face washing, hair care and make-up, etc.
- Help with mobility in the apartment or with in community to/from
- Complete instrumental activities of daily living, including:
- Laundry
- Assist with attending community activities
- Make bed and change bed linens
- Clean/maintain equipment
- Evacuate in emergency situation
Notable Functions:
- Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrate dependability and punctuality
- Create a positive work and home environment with open communication and teamwork
- Completion of computer charting, as applicable.
