For over 100 years, Windsor Laurelwood Center for Behavioral Medicine, located in Willoughby, Ohio, has provided high-quality behavioral health and substance abuse treatment services to adults, adolescents, and children.
We are looking for looking for a Director of Plant Operations to join our exceptional team!
The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for direction and oversight of the facility environment of care including maintenance, housekeeping, and coordination of outside contractors while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government and regulatory agencies. This individual ensures compliance with pertinent healthcare building codes, accreditation standards, OSHA, and contractual work specifications; and oversees emergency facilities operational initiatives and plans. This position also serves as the facility’s Security Officer, presides over the Safety Committee in the absence of the Risk Manager and is a member of the Quality Council Committee.

Education
Qualifications
Degree in Facility Management, equivalent in trade school degree or related field. Applicable job experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
Experience
A minimum of four (4) years related experience with at least two (2) years of management experience in a facility environment. Must have experience with reading blueprints and understand the Life Safety Code, NFPA, Joint Commission, Health Department, OSHA and other applicable regulations and standards.
Licensure
Must have a valid driver’s license. Must complete CPR and CPI training and all other required facility training, as indicated.

Education
