- Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine studies following RAYUS protocols.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
- Operate and troubleshoot PET/CT equipment; complete all QC and equipment checks.
- Provide patient care before, during, and after imaging; explain procedures clearly.
- Ensure radiation safety, proper isotope handling, and compliance with state/federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate documentation: dose logs, QC logs, patient records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support diagnostic interpretation.
- Keep exam rooms stocked and organized; assist with protocol updates and training.
- Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (Associate or Bachelor).
- Active NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification.
- Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (required).
- Device-specific PET/CT training (meets Florida CT portion requirement).
- Valid BLS/CPR certification.
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, imaging protocols, QC, and radiation safety.
- 1 year Nuclear Medicine or PET/CT experience.
- ARRT(CT) helpful for full CT functionality.
- Experience with GE, Siemens, or Philips PET/CT systems.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) beneficial in Miami market.
