Job Summary (Inpatient Rehabilitation - Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital Oklahoma City South):
- Provide care for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and similar conditions.
- Work in a modern, 41,000 square foot, sunlit facility designed to enhance the experience of patients, families, and staff.
- Support patient recovery in a 36-bed hospital with private rooms and capacity for future expansion.
- Utilize state-of-the-art amenities such as large therapy gyms, an in-house pharmacy, dialysis capabilities, and a furnished Assisted Daily Living apartment for patient rehabilitation.
- Facilitate patient mobility and independence through innovative tools like a retrofitted "Smart Car," therapy courtyards, and robotic exoskeleton (EksoNR) technology.
- Employ advanced rehabilitation technologies, including the REAL y-Series virtual reality (VR) rehab tool for customized therapy.
- Encourage patient and family engagement in recovery with access to communal dining areas, meeting spaces, and outdoor patios.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered rehabilitation care in a supportive environment.
