Tool and Die Technician – Heavy Stamping & Press Operations
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Technician to support our manufacturing operations, specializing in heavy presses (up to 300 tons) and progressive stamping systems. This role focuses on the teardown, assessment, and repair of existing dies to ensure uninterrupted production and consistent product quality. Candidates must demonstrate hands-on expertise with mills, lathes, and mechanical troubleshooting, along with a strong working knowledge of progressive die systems. If you do not have tool & die experience with progressive knowledge do not apply to this job. This is not a millwright or a machinist position.

Pay is based on verifiable working experience.
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Shift may vary based on production needs and some Saturday's may be required.
Essential job duties:
- Assisting in die design improvements, developing cycle-based preventative maintenance programs, and performing detailed failure mode analyses to drive long term tooling reliability.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to optimize die inspections, repairs, set-ups, and in-process adjustments.
- Manage tooling maintenance manual/repair files, as well as assisting with the development and maintenance of an effective Preventative Maintenance process to include record-keeping and routine maintenance logs.
- Experience working in a Manufacturing setting
- Ability to communicate in a one-on-one setting as well as in group settings.
Working Conditions:
- Mobility: Maintain a stationary position which may include Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting, reaching. Perform repetitive tasks using hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Lifting: Safely lift materials up to 25 lbs. unassisted and up to 50 lbs. assisted. Heavier loads with additional assistance.
- Work Environment: Work safely near moving mechanical parts. Regularly work in an environment where the noise level is moderately loud. Ear protection may be required.
- Weather Exposure: Regularly work in various weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat. We are a non-climate controlled facility.
