SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Access Control Officer is to provide a safe and secure environment while monitoring the entrances and the property perimeter to effectively control access, while placing safety procedures as a top priority. Provide members, guests, and employees with a sense of comfort by maintaining professionalism and visibility. This position is for the night shift from 10:00pm to 6:00am to include holidays and weekends.

- Effectively gather pertinent information on observations of conditions, incidents, and accidents and accurately report them in writing.
- Communicate with property owners in a courteous, confidential, and professional manner.
- Work special events and fill in upon request when needed.
- Perform duties per Access Control’s policies and training program.
- Must be flexible to work all shifts as per business needs including weekends and holidays.
- Ensure that all facilities are being secured and monitored according to listed lock up schedules, standard operating procedures, and alarm monitoring.
- Possession of a valid driver license and insurable under company insurance policy
- Respond to emergency calls such as bugler/fire alarm calls, first aid, and traffic control.
- Regular attendance and timeliness are required.
- May require adjusted work schedules to meet deadlines.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. Must have the ability to move heavy objects. Must frequently lift and/or move items over 30 pounds. Must have the ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. May be exposed to human body fluids. Must be physically present.
