We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist that will work effectively within the Windrose Health Network culture, which is described as family-friendly, supportive, transparent, and treats employees as we would want employees to treat our patients. We are seeking a Medical Receptionist that is a good advocate for their patients, solution-oriented, honest, and passionate. Offering pertinent information:
- Directing callers to appropriate Health Center staff
- Taking messages when appropriate
- Schedules appointments, verifies registration information and patient demographics
- Collects patient co-pays or other payments
- Inspects reception room for neatness
Requirements
Education, Experience & Training:
- High School graduate or GED required; excellent Customer Service skills .
- A qualified candidate should preferably have at least two (2) years of work experience as a Receptionist in a health care service delivery setting.
- A qualified candidate should have a working knowledge of MicroSoft Word and Excel and a working knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR).
Experience:
- Customer service: Experience in Medical terminology (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Appointment scheduling: 1 year (Preferred)
- Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)
- Phone etiquette: 1 year (Preferred)
