Service Technician / Carpenter - Windows & Doors

Windows & Doors By Brownell is looking for a Window & Door Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and service windows and doors in customers' homes and on active jobsites.

You don't need to be a window and door expert; we can teach you that.

If you're comfortable using tools, understand residential construction, enjoy solving problems, and take pride in doing quality work, we'd like to talk with you.

This is a great opportunity to put your construction experience to work on smaller-scale service and repair projects supporting our customers on a variety of jobsites. You'll have a variety of work (no two days are the same), support from an experienced service team, and the opportunity to build specialized skills.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and diagnose window and door issues.
• Make adjustments, repairs, and replace parts to get products working properly.
• Complete smaller carpentry, trim, and repair work as needed.
• Work directly with homeowners to explain issues and solutions.
• Complete assigned service calls with support from our Lead Service Technician and Service Manager.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work area.

What We're Looking For

• Some residential construction, remodeling, carpentry, maintenance, or similar hands-on experience.
• Comfortable using common construction tools such as drills, saws, and levels.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in figuring out how things work.
• Good communication skills and comfort working in customers' homes.
• Reliable, professional, and willing to learn.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Window and door experience is a plus, but not required—we will train the right person.
