Join our dynamic team at Window World of the Hudson Valley as a Laborer/Helper in Wappinger Falls, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading company in the home improvement industry, where every day brings new challenges and rewards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled tradespeople with window installations and repairs.
- Load and unload materials and tools at job sites, including receiving shipments/deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure workplace.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks and minor repairs as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Support the team in meeting project deadlines and quality standards.
- Must be able to take initiative and be able to problem solve and or think outside of the box for resolutions.
- Manage inventory of materials in warehouse.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in construction or labor roles is a plus.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Able to drive a box truck.
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, some Saturday's. Setting up and breaking down Trade Show Events.
