Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Window and Door Salesperson to join our team. This role involves assisting clients with selecting the right windows and doors, providing expert advice on installation options, and supporting the sales process from consultation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction-related skills, including carpentry, fabrication, and mechanical knowledge, along with excellent communication skills to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to assess their needs and recommend suitable window and door solutions
- Measure and evaluate project sites to ensure proper fit and installation requirements
- Assist in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of windows and doors using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute projects
- Perform caulking, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and fixture installation to ensure quality finishes
- Handle heavy lifting safely during product delivery and installation processes
- Support remodeling projects involving metal stud framing, electrical work, locksmithing, and cabinetry as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining product features, installation procedures, and maintenance tips
Requirements
- Proven experience in glass installation, welding, carpentry, or related construction fields
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, blueprint reading, schematics, and fixture installation
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Experience with door hanging, caulking, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, frame carpentry, locksmithing, remodeling, electrical work, and fabrication is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to window and door systems is highly desirable
- Construction site experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety protocols
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Valid
certification or relevant licensing is a plus but not mandatory
