Junior Estimator

Job Opportunity: Junior Estimator - Windows

We are looking for a proactive Junior Estimator with a focus on windows to assist our team of estimators here at Window Supply Warehouse. You will bring experience in construction estimating, a solid understanding of window products, and the ability to assist in the preparation of precise cost estimates. This role plays a vital part in ensuring projects are completed on schedule and stay within the allocated budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measurement & Evaluation: Assist in the review of customer-provided information, including blueprints, dimensions, and site measurements, to assess project requirements.
• Cost Estimations & Proposals: Calculate material costs, labor charges, installation expenses, and any additional fees to generate comprehensive cost estimates.
• Client & Team Communication: Answer inquiries from clients regarding prices, material choices, and project options. Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure project success.
• Supplier & Subcontractor Negotiations: Work with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for materials and services.
• Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotes, approvals, and orders. Track which estimates convert to final projects and manage associated paperwork.
• Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for management, detailing estimated project costs and any relevant changes or updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
