Warehouse/Shipping Associate

Position Summary

The Warehouse/Shipping associate will partner with an our lead window coverings installers to learn our day-to-day production and installation processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

1st Order

· Check current product levels, supplies, and setup of warehouse

· Check and confirm daily production workload

· Process daily batch workload

· Organize outgoing product in designated locations by territory

· Drop warehouse by down-dropping remaining products by pallets after production

· Organize, build, and prep outgoing shipments for pickup by 3rd party shipping

· Clean, organize and “reset” warehouse and supplies for next day processes

· Performs others duties as requested, directed or assigned related to warehouse inventory, supplies, production, safety and cleanliness

2nd Order

· Provides onsite support to lead and field teams

· Assists with measurements, installations, and repairs

· Assists with cleanup of every job

· Accurately measures windows in preparation for production and installation

· Manages inventory

· Prepares jobs for pick up

· Transports jobs to long-distance installers (i.e., Las Vegas) as needed

· Assists with installations issues and onsite troubleshooting

· Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

· Driver’s License required

· Experience using power and/or hand tools

· Must master product knowledge (i.e., specifications, installation process, drawings)

· Ability to understand and successfully perform warehouse and installation duties

· Ability and/or prior experience using WSI preferred communication tools for all correspondence

· Ability to demonstrate high degree of customer service

· Support co-workers with care for safety and quality

· Work with integrity, respect, and desire to fulfill the needs of the team and Window Scenes as is needed

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance in a safe way.

Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

The ability to maintain focus and attention to detail in a busy, fast paced workplace is required in order to work both safely and accurately.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
