Director of Canvassing

Are you a motived and effective face to face sales professional , who is passionate about coaching, leading a team, and driving impactful outreach? We are seeking an energetic and strategic Director of Canvassing to lead our door-to-door engagement and marketing initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development, execution, and management of our canvassing programs, ensuring maximum outreach effectiveness while fostering a motivated and high-performing team. Your leadership will be instrumental in expanding our reach, strengthening community relationships, and achieving organizational goals through innovative marketing, lead generation, and customer service strategies.

About the Role

• Develop comprehensive canvassing strategies that align with organizational lead generation needs and profitability.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate a team of canvassers to ensure consistent performance and professional conduct.
• Implement door-to-door campaigns focusing on effective locations, communities, and offerings.
• Create canvassing team's scripting, SOPs, KPIs, code of conduct, schedule, daily outreach locations, compensation plan, etc to execute on department goals and profitability.
• Monitor team activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
• Utilize effective communication skills to engage diverse audiences, build value for our services, and generate qualified leads.
• Analyze campaign data to assess outreach effectiveness and adjust tactics for improved results.
• Provide reporting and ROI metrics to marketing directors that meet or exceed department goals.
• Attend weekly marketing meetings to align with the department on lead generation goals, consistent messaging, growth plans, and ensure continually profitability.
• Coordinate with marketing directors to integrate messaging across channels and maximize impact.

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience leading teams in canvassing or face to face sales environments.
• Strong background in marketing strategies with an understanding of customer service principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and engage community members effectively.
• Experience in door-to-door sales and canvassing is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a profitable door to door canvassing department.
• Knowledge of effective canvassing techniques, practices, and neighborhood outreach methods.
• Valid Driver's license.
• Personally own your vehicle with healthy driving record.
• Available to work evenings and weekends
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (6–8 hours/day)
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions year round
• Must be able to navigate stairs, hills, walkways as needed during canvassing activities
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to operate a phone, computer, tablet, Microsoft word, Excel, and general technical proficiency

Compensation

Salary Base with an aggressive bonus/commission plan based on team performance.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
