Windmill Creek Winery and Farm Kitchen, a historic house with charm and character is looking for a hardworking, team-oriented server to join our small but mighty crew. Our winery offers a variety of experiences for our guests - from guided wine tastings, walk-up service, indoor dining, outdoor seating, concerts and outside walk ups to our famous winter igloo dining experience - no two days are ever the same here!
What We're Looking For:
- Someone flexible and adaptable, ready to jump into different roles throughout the day
- Willing to learn wine knowledge and stay educated on our menu
- Able to carry trays and run your own food efficiently and gracefully
- Comfortable lifting and carrying cases of wine when needed
- Willing to work outside in all seasons including winter for our igloo dining service
- Someone comfortable enough to do a guided wine tasting for our guests
- A team player with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast paced ever changing environment
- Looking for long term employment with a fun close-knit team
- Familiar with TOAST POS systems is helpful but not mandatory
Roles and Responsibilities May Include:
- Hosting guests and managing reservations using RESY
- Serving tables and running food inside, outside or upstairs in our historic home
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs effectively
- Supporting wine tastings and walk-up service
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred
- Bussing and setting tables
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $3.63 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 35 per week
