Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Full Time Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and experience in hospitality or food service environments. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience through attentive service and efficient seating management.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times effectively
- Escort guests to tables and provide menus promptly
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements
- Taking reservations and returning voicemails
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, maintaining excellent phone etiquette
- Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Support guest services by providing information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST & Resy
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for guest interactions
- Experience in hotel or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
