Role Description

We’ve brought tax work in-house for our planning clients, and we’re looking for a Tax Manager who wants to help shape something modern and efficient.

We're now building a true one-stop wealth destination that includes investment advisory, tax preparation, bookkeeping, and estate planning under one roof, with a new headquarters in development. This role is central to that vision. You wouldn't be slotting into a finished system; you'd be helping shape it..

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review individual business, and estate tax returns with accuracy and care.
• Lead client meetings & tax planning conversations
• Build proactive tax strategies integrated with financial planning
• Use modern tools (QBO, ProConnect/Lacerte, AI) to streamline workflows
• Stay current on tax law and help clients make informed decisions
• Collaborate closely with advisors to deliver a seamless client experience
• Help design our tax offering and eventually grow a team

Qualifications

• CPA or EA preferred (or strong tax experience in public accounting)
• Hands-on with QuickBooks, ProConnect, and Bookkeeping
• Detail-oriented, organized, and genuinely people-focused
• Tech-savvy and excited about modernizing tax with AI-driven workflows
• Detail-oriented and process-driven. Good documentation, clear notes, disciplined follow-through, comfort working inside workflows.
• Innovative and collaborative. Not locked into the traditional tax-firm grind or the billable-hour mentality. Comfortable being a disrupter.
• Crypto tax knowledge a plus
• Strong communicator who can make complex topics simple
• Must live in the Oklahoma City metro
• Truly caring about the humans we serve is non-negotiable
