Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager specializing in Residential Roofing to join our expanding team. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to expand the residential roofing client base.
  • Prospect new leads through door knocking, targeted outreach, networking, and leveraging industry contacts to generate sales opportunities.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact and needs assessment to proposal presentation, negotiation, and deal closing.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track prospects, manage customer relationships, and monitor sales pipeline activity effectively.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create compelling campaigns that attract potential clients and reinforce brand presence in the residential roofing market.
  • Conduct strategic planning sessions to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and growth opportunities for enterprise selling.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, foster repeat business, and facilitate referrals for new opportunities.
  • Coordinate project management activities related to client projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development management within the residential roofing or related construction industries.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting, client base expansion, deal closing, and enterprise selling techniques.
  • Strong proficiency with Salesforce CRM software and other CRM tools for customer relationship management and sales tracking.
  • Excellent sales negotiation skills combined with strategic management capabilities to develop long-term growth plans.
  • Experience with Salesforce Cloud platforms and marketing integration to optimize lead generation efforts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering results on time.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on building lasting client relationships through effective negotiation and strategic planning.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management best practices, project management principles, and marketing strategies relevant to residential roofing markets is highly desirable.
