Winding Creek Kennels has been in business for 30 years, caring for dogs and cats. We are now hiring part-time Animal Caretakers to help us achieve our goal of offering top notch animal care and remaining the most sought after boarding facility in Northeast Georgia.
Winding Creek Kennels is looking for passionate and dependable animal lovers to join our team! We are now hiring part time staff that can help us on weekends, (occasionally during the week if able depending on your schedule) and during the busy holidays.
Animal Caretaker duties and Requirements
- Cleaning the kennels and common areas
- Exercising animals including walks & playtimes
- Observing animals and noting any concerns with their behaviors or health
- Assist in Bathing the animals
- Assist in administering medications & Feeding
- Greeting customers
- Work well together as a part of a large team.
- Willingness and availability to work weekend hours and on and around holidays is non-negotiable
- Should be in good physical shape and have the endurance to work on your feet for up to 8 hours a day.

Starting Pay: Part Time Employees $14/hour and up. Pay is based on your level of maturity and any previous experience.

- We are always busy over the Spring & Summer season. Willingness and availability to work Spring Break, Summer Break and any Summer holidays is non-negotiable. Which includes Spring Break, Memorial Holiday, 4th of July and entire summer season. Are you willing to work on & around those prime times? (REQUIRED - YES/NO)
