We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work. www.wsesu.org/socjus Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) students during the 2025-2026 school year. We are searching for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant who is passionate about working with young children and helping them to prepare for the future. Applicants must be trained as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant. Successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in the Google platform. This position follows the WSESU school calendar. Knowledge and Skills: Ability to implement interventions developed by a speech language pathologist to address students' communication skills (e.g. articulation, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, etc.) Ability to monitor student progress and adjust programs accordingly. Ability to implement speech/language interventions and progress monitor performance related to IEP goals and objectives. Collaborate with other professionals within the school’s Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) as appropriate to support specialized learning outlined in the IEP. Build positive relationships with parents/guardians and maintain consistent communication about the IEP process, including documenting contact, facilitating meetings, creating amendments and all other IEP documentation requirements. Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations for IEP compliance. Responsible for building positive relationships with students, parents and other community partners. Acquire and exhibit working knowledge of Special Education program operating procedures and routines and current best practices in Speech/Language pathology and other professional related areas as assigned. May participate in conferences, and meetings as appropriate or assigned. **The district is posting for both a SLP and SLPA. Our intent is to only hire one of these two roles.
