About the position/s:
We openings for Teachers in both Early Head Start and Head Start classrooms. All candidates must be at least 20 years of age and have the ability to bend, kneel, stoop, squat, sit on the floor, and lift and carry 50 lbs. Must successfully pass a background check and a pre-employment physical with a TB screening.

Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Teacher Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Early Childhood/Childhood Development, or in a related field with twenty-one (21) ECE Credits.
Candidates with a Child Development Associate (CDA), completed VT Child Care Registered Apprentice program or a VT Career Ladder Level III Certificate with twenty-one (21) credits and two (2) years’ experience working with young children will be considered if actively pursuing a degree in ECE.
A minimum of 1 year working with children ages birth - 3 and their families in a center-based early childhood program.
Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Teacher Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS or Master’s Degree in a related field with thirty (30) ECE credits and two (2) years’ experience working with young children in a group setting.

Bachelor's preferred. A minimum of 5 years working with children 3-5 and their families in a center-based early childhood program. Experience with staff supervision, staff development, and program administration.
Head Start Preschool Teacher Preferred Qualifications: BA/BS or Master’s degree in Early Childhood/Child Development or related field with thirty (30) ECE credits. Supervisory experience. Current Vermont Teacher Licensure.
