Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to identify new business opportunities within assigned territories
- Engage with potential customers through face-to-face visits, phone calls, and community events to promote products.
- Provide outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions
- Conduct route driving efficiently to maximize coverage and ensure timely visits to clients
- Upsell additional products to existing customers to enhance revenue streams
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and route schedules using organizational tools
- Collaborate with team members and management to share insights, feedback, and market trends
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles; prior military experience is a plus for discipline and leadership skills; knowledge of the food industry is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey product benefits and negotiate effectively
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling product displays or inventory restocking
- Basic math skills for pricing calculations, order processing, and inventory management
- Knowledge of merchandising techniques to present products attractively on shelves or displays
- Excellent organizational skills to manage routes, schedules, and customer information efficiently
Pay: $25,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
