QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Have at least five (5) years of experience in operations management within a commercial printing environment or equivalent vocational experience.
- Have supervisory experience in printing, graphic arts, and reprographics in a commercial shop or in-plant setting.
- Possess working knowledge of the following software programs (preferred): Print Shop Pro, Prisma Sync, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
- Possess working knowledge of the following graphic design software (preferred): Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Be physically capable of lifting cartons of paper and working in a moving and standing position for regular hours.

$60,208 (BA-3)
Salary (based on verifiable job-related experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Direct the day-to-day activities of print center staff, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity.
- Maintain an accurate filing system for work orders and all other departmental data.
- Operate all reprographic equipment proficiently in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Maintain technical skills necessary for professional print processes across various sizes and weights of stock.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels of paper, chemicals, and office supplies for the Printing Center.
- Supervise routine maintenance of reprographic equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspections, to ensure high standards of efficiency and safety in the work area.
- Perform clerical tasks as required, including processing purchase orders, work orders, correspondence, and monthly billing within the Printing Center.
- Instruct and train personnel in the safe and effective operation and maintenance of print center equipment.
- Possess advanced troubleshooting skills for copier and printer issues across school environments.
- Supervise and counsel production employees regarding production techniques, quality control, and productivity.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills, guiding customers through all phases of printing, from design to delivery.
- Manage human resources tasks related to staff absences, late arrivals, basic policies, and performance concerns.
- Provide effective oral and written communication and direction regarding complex situations, production challenges, and deadlines.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations for all assigned personnel.
- Assist in recruitment efforts, including candidate interviews and hiring recommendations, in collaboration with the Manager and Assistant Director of Support Services.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management and/or the Director of Support Services.
- Support the Print Center department through regular and reliable attendance.
