Windermere Tennis Club is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Court Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for maintaining the club's tennis courts to the highest standards, ensuring excellent playing conditions for our members and guests.
Primary Responsibilities
- Daily maintenance of Hydro-Clay tennis courts (experience preferred)
- Grooming, brushing, rolling, watering, and lining clay courts
- Court cleaning, pressure washing, and routine inspections
- Monitoring court conditions and reporting maintenance needs
- Assisting with seasonal court preparation and improvements
- Maintaining court maintenance equipment and supplies
- Helping keep the tennis facility clean, organized, and professional in appearance
Qualifications
- Experience maintaining Hydro-Clay or Har-Tru clay tennis courts is strongly preferred.
- Experience maintaining hard courts is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently while taking pride in quality workmanship.
- Basic knowledge of tennis facility operations is beneficial.
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
Applicants who have experience teaching or assisting with tennis or pickleball instruction are encouraged to apply. Opportunities may be available to earn additional income by assisting with programs and lessons.
