We’re looking for a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at Wind River. This role goes beyond tile installation — depending on knowledge and experience, our tile setter may also work with our trim carpenters on cabinet installs, custom built-ins, and finish work. The right candidate is versatile, dependable, and committed to quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Install tile for showers, backsplashes, and flooring with precision and attention to detail
- Collaborate with trim carpenters on cabinetry, built-ins, and finishing work as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and drawings
- Ensure proper layout, spacing, and alignment of tile projects
- Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean work area
- Work as part of a crew to complete projects on time and to company standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, managers, and teammates
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of tiling or finish carpentry experience preferred
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow direction
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
- Strong communication skills
