Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a traveling Wind Turbine Technician. The Wind Turbine Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and executing complex repairs on wind turbines, specifically Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), and Vestas platforms. Day-to-day tasks include working at heights, conducting drive train and main bearing replacements, and ensuring the optimal performance of wind turbine assets. The technician will work closely with the team to minimize downtime and maximize productivity of the wind farms.
Qualifications
- Experience in Working at Height and Wind Energy
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting
- Preferred knowledge in MHI and Vestas Platforms
- Technical competency and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Relevant certifications and training in wind turbine technology is a plus
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments
